THE OBJECTIVE:
We started working with Photograph after we had helped the owner, Fred Rubenstein, brand another one of his businesses. Photograph is a unique San Francisco store that sells professionally-printed stock photography and museum-quality mats and frames at affordable prices. Our challenge was to reflect the elegant simplicity and craftsmanship of their product.
THE SOLUTION:
We started from scratch on this project, and worked closely with Fred to define the style of his store and the shape of his brand. We began with his identity, then we moved on to his website and eventually to all of his store signage. We came up with a simple, classic brand for Photograph that didn’t overpower the great images that he sells.
